“Sporakia” is the Greek word for “little seeds.”

We have chosen this word for the title of our team and our website because a seed is the beginning of new life and our project is the beginning of an attempt for spreading the word for greener cities.

We are students from the department of Agriculture, in the Vocational School of Ierapetra in Greece and we collaborate with students from IES San Clemente in Galicia- Spain, in the framework of an eTwinning project called “Green spots in town.”

We have started learning about Landscape Architecture and the use of plants. We are sharing what we learn with you.

Toxosoftware (the Galician team of students) has created this website on our request and we hope that we or other students continue this effort in the following years.
